Important Notices
Update as on 14th Feb 08:
- Citizens of other countries, who live in France, should give
a photocopy of their Residence Permit (Carte de Séjour or Carte
de Résident) at the time of submission of their Visa application.
- They need to complete the Reference Form titled for all Non-French
Nationals regardless of whether they are holding Resident Permit
or whether they can furnish Residence Proof and pay the Reference
Fees/Telex/Fax charges of €30 for each application.
- Applicants of Sri Lankan, Chinese and Pakistani origin/descent,
who are now French Passport holders, are also required to complete
the Reference Form and pay the Reference Fees/Telex/Fax charges
of €30 for each application. These applications may take a minimum
of a week to Three months for a response.
- Nationals of Monaco can be treated as French Nationals provided
they are not of Sri Lankan, Chinese and Pakistani origin/descent
Update as on 11th Feb 08:
- The collection of processed applications will commence at 1800
hours for this week. Our offices will remain open until 1900 hours,
as an exception, to accommodate this change.
- Due to huge volume of application for Indian Visas, the applications
may take a minimum of 72 hours for processing. This processing
time can extend and applicants are requested to plan their travel
to India in accordance with this information.
