Journalist Visa

1. Original passport valid for at least six months and having three blank visa pages.
   
   
2. Copy of the data page of the passport containing name and photograph.
   
   
3. Three photographs conforming to prescribed specifications.
   
   
4. Two visa application forms duly filled in online and signed by the applicant.
   
   
5. Work attestation letter from the employer (original + photocopy).
   
   
6. Authorization letter from XP Division, MEA or PIC Wing, Embassy of India, Paris in case applicant intends to go for making a film in India.
   
   
7. Applicant may be made aware that only a single entry visa is issued to all applicants belonging to this category with a maximum validity of 3 months.
   
   
8. Journalists who desire to work in Indian media organizations must apply for Employment Visas along with a specific undertaking from the employer.
   
   
9. Embassy fees and VFS service fees.
