The Visa Application Centre in Lyon

The Visa Application Centre in Lyon enables you to:

• Submit a visa application (By appointment only -09h00 - 14h00)

The Visa Application Centre in Lyon does not enable you to:

• Withdraw your visa application (return of passports exclusively by Chronopost)
  
• Submit a visa application in emergency
  
• Obtain general information regarding visas or information specific to your case

Please note: Applications submitted in Lyon take longer to process than applications submitted in Paris. In the case of imminent travel, it is recommended to submit application in Paris. For further information, please consult our Processing Times page.

Make an appointment
Please contact our Call Centre to check documents required and to make an appointment. The address of our office will be communicated to you when you have made an appointment.

All applications submitted in Lyon will be returned by Chronopost. Please provide, for each passport, a Chronopost envelope (Chronopass 13, envelope de 500g) labelled at your address when submitting your application. Alternatively, you may subscribe to our optional 'Chronopost Service' whereby we will provide the required envelope.

Please note: The centre in Lyon does not have a credit/debit card terminal. Personal cheques are not accepted.
